Liminal Network Metrics Policy

Every company that hosts content on the web uses metrics. Eventually, we plan to show you; both customers and the general public, the most important metrics we gather.

Some metrics we intend to show include our: uptime, and our typical API response times. For customers, internal dashboards will provide you with call counts you make per provider, as well as any timing, and information about additional calls we make on your behalf for webhooks, or any longer-running requests.

Privately, and not available to you, we also keep metrics on our own internal failure rates, time to properly provision our services, and more. Our collecting of metrics is a standard of practice across the web industry, in order to ensure our ability to provide our services to you. Our providing of metrics to our customers should be an expectation for any metered service. And our intent to provide public information about our API response times and general uptime is what sets us beyond the vast majority of private companies in our openness.
